Started going to Ipswich School of Dancing approximately 18 months ago as I enjoyed social dancing in the past but was without a partner. The friendly atmosphere put me at ease and I was soon nervously dancing again. The school caters for all ages and levels from social dancing to medals and competitions. The informal, friendly tuition ensures you leave with a smile believing you don't have "two left feet" afterall!

You are able to start a class as a couple or solo because the school has a number of male and female competent partners to assist the teachers.

Would strongly recommend you try a class, you will be surprised how much you learn in a short amount of time.

An added bonus is the Saturday social where you can practice what you've learnt and a Wednesday aftermoon tea dance for those on holiday or retired.

Great school, great teachers, great lessons and I love the social. Can nearly call myself a dancer (nearly!)lol.

Restarted up my dancing about 8 months ago where I was lucky enough to find an awesome partner who has to constantly keep me on time with the music - don't know how she puts up with me!

All in all, love my dancing and look forward to all my classes, just need a few more private lessons!

Both my children attended Ipswich School of Dancing for over 12 years. The dance teacging is superb and they achieved high standards, regularly representing the school at major competitions and my daughter now has a cereer in dance. More importantly it taught them values. How to deal with winning and losing and how to be part of a group. How to present yourself with confidence but also humility. How to have fun. One of the best decisions I have ever made was to walk my children through the doors of the Ipswich School of Dancing.

I have been involved with Ipswich School of Dancing for many years, firstly with my chhildren and now my grandchildren. The school provides excellent teaching standards and provides a very high level of dancing. The teachers are friendly and bring fun into learning both in classes and private lessons. The school has many different  social events both for adults and children. An excellent professional dance school.

My husband and I have been having lessons with Sue at the Ipswich School of Dancing for a few years and we thoroughly enjoy our lessons. We're not brilliant dancers but enjoy the exercise!Everyone is so friendly, not only are we getting a bit fitter but we have a great time socially, they do say laughter is great exercise!

If you enjoy a bit of a party they also run a social evening/dance on a Saturday evening which is a great mixer event. We love you all :)

Ipswich School of Dancing has been a part of our lives for many years. My girls are taught by excellent teachers and learn from the exceptional talent at the school. This dance school has a positive ethos, where the children not only gain the ability to dance but to be part of a community. Giving them confidence to apply to everyday life and making friendships to last a lifetime.

Ipswich School of Dancing is more than a dancing school its a community, a family and a lovely learning environment all wrapped in one go. Expert tuition where students are well supported and lessons are pitched to individual's needs and tastes. There are also loads of opportunities for competitive dancers as well as social dancing and you can flit between the two quite happily!

The Ipswich School of Dancing has a fun and friendly vibe. I have been a member here for 20 years and along the way dancing has helped me overcome ill health and inspired me to continue! Love you all! xx

Ipswich School of Dancing is a great place to learn to dance and make new friends. There is a lively social scene with dances every Saturday nightand Wednesday afternoon, often with homemade cakes!!

A friendly atmosphere, spacious dance floor and supportive teachers make for a fantastic dance experience whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced dancer.
